  1. To be honest, after listening to the 1st place song, its hard for me to see why you chose it. It is catchy, and well sung, but no more or less then some of your other finalists. I think i have to remember that (a), I don't remember the effect it had on the camp. And also, that many of the things that are taken for granted now, were revolutionary with that song.

    Yep, I agree. Just by itself, the song, compared to the things we hear today is just average. It was the effect, and as you said, how revolutionary it was, that made it number one. This also gets back to the conversation I was having with Alyssa and Aviva in the other thread. Just because the song was awesome 10 years ago, does not make the songs awesome now. The only way that songs from 10 years ago make the rankings is if they had a supreme effect on camp, which "Like a prayer" did.
